Meet Laura
Hi there, and welcome to Your Story, Untold. My name is Laura - the founder of Your Story, Untold, and I am so excited to go on this adventure with you.
I discovered my love for writing at a young age. While other children played with toys or ran outside, I sat with my pen and paper to create fantasy worlds and characters.
Storytelling has always been my passion, and I have built my portfolio around it. Having written for major podcasts, publications, and news outlets, I have learned the power of crafting the narrative in a way that stays true to the people within the story.
When I am not writing, I am spending time with my husband and two little dogs - Butter and Skye.
My Inspiration
Several years ago, my grandma decided to write a book of memories that she self-published and shared with the family. As I read it, I was so grateful to have a written record of so many of her stories, from her father's time in the Navy to childhood memories and much more.
When future generations ask me for stories about my grandmother and great-grandparents, I will be able to share the book with them. Even more than that, they'll learn about her life through stories written in her voice.
The most common thing I hear when I tell my people about grandma's book, is that they wish they had something like that too.
I started Your Story, Untold to give people the chance to tell their life stories their way. While I am the writer, my clients are the storytellers. And, together, we will create a keepsake memoir book that can be shared with loved ones for many generations to come.
